Terry and Jane Marsh purchased the operating assets of Ben Fox Inc. in December 2001 and formed a new corporation known as Fox Erosion Control and Landscape, Inc. (Fox). All employees were retained with the new organization.
Since that acquisition, Fox has experienced significant growth in its labor force, vehicles and equipment, and in its breadth of work. We have taken on many challenging projects of various size and complexity and completed them with praise and admiration from those for whom we have worked. Most notably, Fox has been part of several projects that have received both local and national recognition.
Today, we are on our second generation of family ownership, adding both a son and son-in-law. Our son Tory serves as the company’s Estimator/Contract Administrator and oversees daily operations of the front office and accounting team. Son-in-law, Brian Young, is the Operations Manager and is an invaluable member of the field operations team. All family members have a mutual commitment to quality performance and strategic planning which has provided for continued success past, present, and future. Whether offering comprehensive consultation to an industrial client or phone advice to a “do it yourself” gardener, we strive to generate professional outcomes that result in lasting relationships with our customers.
Operating a second-generation family business is one measure of success. But just as significant is our many employees who have been with the company for 15-plus years and now many are in their second generation working for Fox; several employee sons and daughters are now members of the Fox family. We find ourselves most proud of our people and our success as a team.
References are easily provided identifying dozens of projects in which Fox has completed various disciplines of landscape construction, erosion control, and wetland mitigation for varied government agencies, industrial and commercial interests, and residential properties. Further, a list of contractors and municipalities for whom Fox has previously provided landscape construction as either a sub or prime contractor can be provided for your consideration.
